All products sold by Fotofriends are covered by an Australian Warranty.
Your item will be serviced in Australia. Your item will not be shipped offshore for service.
The warranty itself is, or replicates directly the "Manufacturers Warranty" terms and conditions and covers all "Manufacturers faults, defects, parts and labour warranty".
This means that any fault that is deemed to be due to manufacturing will be covered by the warranty for any parts and labor required to fix it. In some cases when the cost of repair outweighs that of a replacement, a suitable replacement product may be offered.
The term of the Australian Warranty varies according to the item purchased and the offering made to you at the time of purchase (eg. extended warranty) but is never less than 12 months from your date of purchase.
If your product develops a manufacturer defect then warranty service is provided by the Manufacturer (or their contracted service agent) or Fotofriends (or our contracted service
agent) depending on the products port of origin, the period in which the defect occurred
and the type of defect occurring.
If your product develops a defect within the first 30 days of purchase we guarantee to replacethe item at no expense to you (Fotofriends covers all pick up and delivery charges).
For Victorian, NSW, ACT and Queensland customers we have contracted service agents in Melbourne, Sydney and Gold Coast. For WA, SA and TAS customers we will cover the cost
of returning your item to Sydney for warranty service.
